Below is the Personal Testimony of Executive Director and Founder, Christy Hernandez - 4 part series from Transformation 2019

Dance 4 Joy is a place to find connections to our community and to our King. Through dance classes, outreaches, conferences, and master classes, the youth at D4J are given amazing opportunities to make friends with different cultures, doctrines, and economic backgrounds. Dance becomes the language that connects and binds us all together.

​My 7-year-old joined the dance conference for something fun to do over the summer. I figured once the conference was over she would move on and be done with dance, it’s not one of her favorite things.

But in the last couple of days when a song she really likes comes on, I see her using moves that she learned at camp. And better than that she says that she is “doing sign language to God” because that is what she learned at dance.

Thank you so much for inspiring my daughter to worship God in a whole new way."
