Building Community Through Dance
Dance 4 Joy is a place to find connections to our community and to our King. Through dance classes, outreaches, conferences, and master classes, the youth at D4J are given amazing opportunities to make friends with different cultures, doctrines, and economic backgrounds. Dance becomes the language that connects and binds us all together.
We depend on the generosity of individual donors, businesses, foundations, and grants to help fund our programs and provide scholarships for dancers in need. Your contribution enables us to do our work with the community we serve and we truly appreciate it. Please consider becoming a sustaining, monthly member to help ensure that future generations of students will continue to dance for JOY.
“D4J is not only an amazing dance ministry, but it is a nurturing and encouraging community of friends who love Jesus, and love dance! The instruction is excellent, and my daughter has learned so much! We have developed wonderful friendships, and we love our D4J family!”Michelle G.
“My 6 andMartina R.
8 year olddancers LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the teachers and classes they take at Dance 4 Joy. Ballet, tap, hip-hop, and jazz. I love that they dance to kid-safe music, wear garments that are conservative, cute and modest, and are challenged, encouraged, and really cared for by the talented instructors. The dance teachers are excellent with professional backgrounds; they create amazing choreography that is complex and encourages my dancers to really excel without a hint of competition. The teacher’s style is totally positive, completely uplifting each dancer, and including kids of all skills and abilities. It’s the best after-school activity! Dance 4 Joy gives my daughters a chance to flex their creative, physical, social and mental muscles, and they look forward to every class! And for me, as a mom, I’ve met the kindest moms while waiting for the girls’ class, I look forward to seeing them every week!”
